Welcome to Oak Class (year 5)

Mrs Hinde will be teaching you on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Mr Sexton, on Thursdays and Fridays.

We are really excited to have all of you in our class. Our first topic of the year is ‘Hola Mexico’ – it’s a really fun topic so we are sure that all of you will enjoy it and learn a lot.

We are so glad that we had a whole transition morning together and that we have learnt so many new things about each other. The main thing for us is that learning in class is fun and enjoyable and that you try your best in everything that you do!

Lastly, we ensure to follow the national curriculum for the primary curriculum in England for programmes of study and attainment targets for KS2.

We look forward to welcoming you into Oak Class!

Our timetable can be downloaded below. Here, parents and pupils have the opportunity to view the class schedule to see the day-to-day routine including the range of curriculum that is covered. We have found that children with SEND have responded well to visually seeing the structure of the day ahead.
