Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week 2023

This week at Horton Kirby Church of England Primary School we have been celebrating ‘National Children’s Mental Health Week’. The theme for this year is ‘Let’s Connect’.  We have been connecting with other people who share the same interests as us in our classes as well as we have explored our emotions and learned how we can help ourselves when we feel a certain way.On Friday 10th February 2023, the last day of Term Three, the whole school in the theme of ‘Dress to Express’, even our Head Teacher dressed to express himself today!

The children who have worked with our Dog Mentor, Honey, have been writing positive things about themselves.
