Year 5 & 6 Musical Trip to London
Year 5 and 6 had a fantastic trip to London on Wednesday to watch Matilda the Musical in the theatre as part of our Music topic on musical theatre.
This unit focuses on teaching children how singing, acting and dancing combine together to create a performance, so seeing a live musical was a wonderful opportunity to bring their learning to life!
During the day, we also enjoyed walking through London and spotting famous landmarks including the London Eye, The Shard, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and 10 Downing Street.
The children represented our school beautifully and had an unforgettable day filled with music, culture and excitement!
